the “learning by doing” approach is a form of active learning that encourages students to willingly participate in what is being taught. some benefits include more one-on-one time with the teacher, more collaboration with other students and a more inclusive active learning environment. this can also present another opportunity for students to work as a group and present their final answers on the glass board. the transparent background of a glass board provides a unique experience and will enhance the students’ concentration during the lesson. an active learning environment where hierarchy is involved can make it challenging for students to focus on the lesson.

i’ve come to accept that not every lesson is going to register, and not every activity is going to be a winner. if you’re teaching 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds, you have to embrace that. you wouldn’t dream of teaching a preschool classroom where your students were expected to be in one spot for six hours with only 30 minutes for lunch. 2. your curriculum was not made to be taught virtually: no matter how much you love your chosen curriculum (assuming you have one), understand that it was meant to be delivered in person and not through a wi-fi connection. is there a way i can make this objective work differently now that i’m not in a classroom? accept that this is age-appropriate behavior and that sometimes you just have to roll with the punches.
