the plano isd board of trustees approved a new employee compensation plan for the 2022-2023 school year that includes a pay increase for all employees, increased starting teacher pay, increased district contribution for health insurance and other strategic pay adjustments. the united states department of agriculture waiver that allowed plano isd to provide free meals to all students during the 2021-22 school year is set to expire at the end of this school year. the 2021-22 meal application will be honored for the first 30 days of the 2022-23 school year. in order to help campuses schedule classes and staff appropriately for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year, families are asked to complete an intent to return form online.
