learning centers are provided to enhance development of large and small motor skills, hand/eye coordination, math skills, reading readiness, and creativity. for the 2021-22 schoolyear, we will have two classes at little friends preschool, each comprised of students ages 3-5. our classes are called the “voyagers” and “explorers.” this is an exciting time for these students, as many of them are “exploring” new skills and experiences for the first time, as well as preparing for their “voyage” to kindergarten. a typical day includes learning centers, circle time, snack, outdoor/large motor activity, crafts, music, and storytime. little friends preschool, a non-profit ministry extension of first friends church, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin.
