aldersgate christian learning center provides a warm and nurturing preschool in which children can grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually in a way that is honoring to christ. we are always striving, in every way, to provide an environment that is safe, caring, educationally age-appropriate, and fun for the children. preschool hours are monday through friday, 7:00am-6:00pm. we use frog street curriculum and creative curriculum! we will continue offering voluntary prekindergarten (vpk). the hours will be from 9:00am-12:00pm, monday through friday. additionally, we will offer vpk wrap care for $120.00 per week during the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm. we also offer stay-and-play for vpk 12-1. it includes lunch and playground for 35.00 per week. 9:00am | traditional | sanctuary 10:30am | contemporary | flc worship center *both services are livestreamed to facebook and the website
we have show-and-tell, read stories, and sing songs related to our theme and letter of the week. we also work on learning and understanding our bible verse of the month. (listening, attention, language, literacy, and spiritual development) children choose from varied activities: play-dough, books, blocks, creative art, dramatic play, puzzles, puppets, games (self direction, choice, problem solving, imagination, manual dexterity) we do guided-art projects related to our theme and/or letter of the week. (following directions, fine motor skills, creative expression) once per week children interact and listen to pastor chip giessler or pastor julie nitzsche talk about god’s word. they pray, discuss, and sit quietly together during a short time of worship. (listening, attention, following directions, and spiritual development) children participate in different experiences including active and quiet songs as well as instruments. (unity, movement, memory, expression)
